It's our tour to the 3 gorges dam today and we woke up SO DAMN EARLY at 5 plus am
went up the bus at 7am and prepared for the long 5 hour trip to the dam.
Of cuz we are like in a tour group then with the tourguide speaking at the front in the bus, but unfortunately, many of us were not concentrating to what she was saying cuz we are so tired. Thus, fell asleep soundly through the rocky journey.

Needless to say, talking about the rocky roads, IT WAS FUN!
But of cuz to compare Singapore's road and China's road, Singapore is still the best because our roads are much more smoother and we don't get to jump up and down throughout our journey in Singapore. (Though the F1 car racers were complaining about our rocky roads.)
We reached a restuarant for our lunch and found that the food is not that bad or not that good.

After which, we continued our travelling again.
When we were travelling up the mountains, the screenery is so DAMN BEAUTIFUL!
Especially when we looked down and saw valleys of water.
After around 5 hours at 1 plus pm, we reached to our destination.
THE DAM.

Ticket for our entry.

THE DAM!!!!

We were given around half an hour to tour around this place and then we took the small bus to a place where we get a full big view of the dam just right below

TATA!
Forwarded to taking the small bus again to a memorial park just opposite across the dam.
The bus brought us to the opposite via a long long bridge which is red in colour.
Thus reaching...

HERE!!!

Ok i don't know where I am looking at. At first we thought that the stones behind us react with the atmosphere or something to produce all these smoke, but then we were wrong that it was just only dry ice -.-
See, kana conned again.

TADPOLES!! scary.

Kumar the Great.Great of the Great in spitting out water.

Ok lah, the dam wasn't that nice afterall maybe due to me not able to appreciate such dams although it is the biggest dam in the world.
We then return back to our inital destination and board up our bus again and off we went for dinner at the
SAME PLACE AGAIN
where we had our lunch.
Food was different but of same standard with what we had for lunch earlier on.
After which, we chiong to board our cruise because we were late for AN HOUR.
Well, we don't expect a good one, a 4 star cruise.
WOW, just a 4 star local cruise.
The international 4 star cruise was much better and bigger and nicer.

HAHA see Liying.
When we first got in the room, we were amazed at how a 4 star LOCAl cruise it can be.
We were amazed at the toilet bowl!
CUZ IT's A SEAT KIND ONE!!!
FINALLY!!!!!!
But to our surprise once again, the water can't be flushed properly, and there's no heater.
We later learnt that when the engine is going, it will generate heat that brings about the hot water to the water in our rooms, but even when the cruise is moving, the water is still so cold!!!!
Worst still, most of us still have to tolerate our buttocks for 3 days because the toilet can't be flushed properly and we can't possibly do our big business in our toilet bowls, and sink the whole room right?

Sunset.

First stage at a dam.
Everybody were flooding the front deck of the cruise to watch the cruise go up to the other side of the river because the river at the other side was much higher, thus boats or cruises have to lined up two by twos to get inside a small dam, and wait for the water level to rise up in order to go into the other side.
The weather was unbearable at that time, because due to the wind, temperature and also we are at sea thats why the weather can keep u shivering and had your teeth chattering all along. But somehow it feels great too.

FINALLY! After a long wait for around half an hour, the water level rosed at a fast speed and the door finally open! And off the cruise went on...
We continued playing poker cards at Jasper's room and until around 12plus am, everybody were tired after the whole day's trip and scrambled back to our rooms.
Whilst sleeping, the cruise went on to another 5 stages of the dam and too bad! We were like little pigs already, shivering on our beds.
One thing that irritates me is that early in the morning around 6am, some music was on and some girl was talking on the microphone asking us to wake up through the recorder and everybody in their rooms can hear it.
I'M SO TIRED, yet they wanted us to have our breakfast as early as 7am.
But we still have to obey them lah.
Breakfast wasn't that nice, and we waited for another around 4 hours before we alighted the cruise and board another smaller cruise where we then headed to SHEN NONG River.

See, this is our cruise. Looks bad right?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
In another smaller cruise on the way to Shen Nong.

Along the way..
Some scenery to enjoy.

The moutains, valleys and water are beautiful!!!!!And we saw a coffin hanging inside in one of the cliffs but too bad I do not have the photo.
Why will there be a coffin in there and how possible it is to be there when it is a cliff where people will surely drop down when they climb?
There are some possibilities to it:
1) In the past, people build stairways up to the cliffs and then they put the coffins in there.
2) Some friends of mine said that they used helicopters?!? !@#$%^&* (in the past no helicopters lah)
The reason why they want to put their coffins in such a high area is that in the past, the people believed that by doing so, the deceased in the coffin will protect and blessed their next generation.
Next, you do see many bright yellow fields of flowers right?
Those flowers are used for our vegetable oil.
This is how all these poor people living in rural places earn their money.
After around an hour plus, we finally reached the place shen nong river where we will experience ourselves sitting in a sampan and seeing how the olden days people pulled the sampans.

See this guy which is half taken? He is the LAO DA of this sampan.
There is about 5 people rowing the sampan.

Experiencing the surroundings. See Jing Quan's kuku face?
These people wear this kind of ragged slippers at work.

And then we reached here at the shallow waters.CAN DRINK ONE THE WATER!
PURE MINERAL WATER!
VERY NICE!
Nicer than the one I use my kettle in my dormitory to boil water.
This is the time where they start to alight themselves in straight rows and use all their strength to pull the sampan against the fast waters.
Traditional ways in the past is kind of obscene.
These men in the past wore nothing!
Imagine you are in the sampan and all you can see is their big round buttocks or even ...
But thats the speciality of this Shen Nong River.

This is our tour guide for this sampan. At this picture, she is actually singing some of their villages folk songs with the LAO DA of this boat.
After that, we headed back to our small cruise again and it swam back to it's way for our "4 star cruise".
Along the way, we were asked to go up to the back of the cruise to see the 3 gorges mountains of the river.
It was nice and there's one which they said it looked like a frog =.=
We were then brought to a place which is like somehow a temple way up in between a hill called Bai Ti Chen.

Walking our way through...

We have to climb up about 200 plus staircases up to this temple.
CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT?!?!?
200 plus leh!!!!!!!
I'm always afraid of staircases and never liked climbing them.
All of us were sweating instead of keeping warm by our jackets and most of us have to take off our jackets to let ourselves cool down.
This place is actually for keeping the memorable San Guo Yan Yi.

The one laying down on the bed is Liu Bei.The one standing beside him is Zhu Ge Liang.
The scene here is indicating the passing down of the next king after Liu Bei.

This is one of the coffin that they took out from the cliffs as i said earlier on.
After the tour around this temple, all of us were hurrying towards down the hill and to our cruise to have our dinner. It was so late at that time which was around 9pm already and all of us were starving!
Again i have to go without my bath but i used wet towel to scrub my whole body or else I'll sink!
Then most of us slept as early as 12am midnight and snored our way through.....
Until it was around 7am AGAIN.
When we woke up, we had already reached our destination and we had to hurry up prepare for our bus trip.
But we slowly pack our things and TIME FOR BREAKFAST!

YEAH! On our way out of the cruise and climbed this very high stairs towards our bus.And fell asleep during the bus ride for around 4 to 5 hours....
But halfway through, the bus stopped at one big supermarket where most of us bought some goodies back for our families.
EX LEH!!!
One box of greentea i bought for 138 RMB.
But give Mummy mah >.<
And we went back to the bus and continued sleeping our whole trip.....
Back to WUST!
OH!
I miss our dormitory!!!!!
When we were at cruise, we missed our dormitory.
When we are at our dormitories, we missed home.
When we are back home, we will miss China.
Life is full of contradictory..Haiz....
When we were back to school it was like around 3 to 4 plus pm already.
We went back for a rest and then continued our way to the back alley for dinner!!!
HOW MUCH WE MISSED THE BACK ALLEY!!!!
GUI LING GAO!!!!
HAHA!!!!
During these 3 days of experience during the 3 gorges dam tour, it was an exciting and full of surprises along during the tour and I'm sure all of us will never forget this experience although it may be boring at times to keep looking at those SAN SAN SHUI SHUI ( mountain mountain water water) >.<
Next week will be going WU DAN SHAN!!!!!!
KUNGFU FIGHTING!!!
Stay tunned!!!!!
MUACKS!!!
